A quick waveform editing method based on a mouse. The method comprises: receiving an original waveform needing to be edited, and setting an editing task, wherein the editing task comprises single waveform editing or full waveform editing and is used for editing an edge waveform of at least one pulse waveform; monitoring a mouse event and determining the type of the mouse event, wherein the type of the mouse event comprises a left key event, a scroll wheel event, and a right key event; if the type of the mouse event is the left key event, receiving the occurrence of the monitored left key event, and if a selected edge exists, moving the selected edge leftwards by a predetermined distance; if the type of the mouse event is the scroll wheel event, receiving the occurrence of the monitored scroll wheel event, and if a selected edge exists, moving the selected edge upwards or downwards by a predetermined distance; if the type of the mouse event is the right key event, receiving the occurrence of the monitored right key event, and if a selected edge exists, moving the selected edge rightwards by a predetermined distance. Therefore, according to the method, the left key of the mouse is released, and the edge can be selected by means of a scroll wheel of the mouse and then is moved to a desired position.
