A vehicle body front structure comprising: a pair of right and left front side frames (18) extending substantially in a vehicle longitudinal direction on right and left sides of an engine room, protruding substantially forward from a vehicle compartment portion; a pair of right and left extension members (60) which extend substantially forwardly at a level below the pair of front side frames (18) and curve outward in the vehicle width direction; rear end portions of the pair of extension members (60) having respective ones middle portions in a height direction of a pair of tower portions (27) are connected such that a center line (CL1) of a longitudinal direction of each of the pair of extension members (60) at the rear end portion at an inward position in the vehicle width direction relative to a center line (CL2) one vert ical standing direction of each of the pair of tower portions (27) is arranged, and the rear end portion of each extension member (60) has a cutout portion (65) on an outward side in the vehicle width direction and a connection of the rear end portion of the extension member (60 ) is configured with the tower section (27) such that the cut-out section (65) of the extension member (60) makes contact with both a front side section (28a) and an inner side section (28b) of the tower section (27) and is welded thereto.
