PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a round rice cake set comprising a round rice cake ornament which can be put as a self-supporting article even after removed from the round rice cake, and a container for the same.;SOLUTION: A round rice cake set container includes a round rice cake-shaped container 10, and a fitting hole 15 is formed at a top part thereof. A round rice cake ornament 17, 17A is fixed on an upper surface. A pedestal 16 in which a fitting groove 16a is formed on a peripheral surface is detachably fitted into the fitting hole 15, and an inner peripheral edge part 11a of the fitting hole is fitted into the fitting groove 16a on a peripheral surface of the pedestal 16. A transparent protective cap 20, 20A covering the round rice cake ornament 17 on the pedestal 16 is provided.
