FIELD: radio measurements.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio measurements. The statistical analyzer contains an input buffer, a counter, a random access memory (RAM), an increment block, a maximum search block, an output register and a control unit. In a variant version, the input buffer can be excluded from the analyzer. The principle of operation of the analyzer provides for the hardware determination of the characteristics of the studied time intervals distribution as a random variable and the search for the mode of the empirical distribution. Moreover, the analyzer makes it possible to work with time intervals whose distribution characteristics are both unimodal and multimodal. ;EFFECT: expanding the functionality of the analyzer and simplifying the process of searching for the mode necessary to obtain an estimate of the studied time intervals.;4 cl, 5 dwg
