The present invention relates to a combination of a gun having a barrel barrel and a series of augmented ammunition, and a bullet for use in the combination. The present invention relates to, but not exclusively, improved forms of ammunition for firearm ammunition. A nominal caliber is provided to the bullet for use in the barrel barrel, the bullet comprises an integrated body, the integrated body being a: a head portion forming the front of the integrated body and the head. The portion is adjacent to the intersection, b: an elongated columnar core and said elongated columnar core comprising at least three bands located around it, said band radially outward from there. The elongated columnar core is adjacent to the, c: with a boat tail portion forming the rear portion of the integral body, and the first band is located at a point where the elongated columnar core is adjacent to the boat tail portion. The third band is located posteriorly from the intersection at a distance in the range of 80% to 120% of the nominal diameter, and the second band is the first and third bands on the elongated cylindrical core. Positioned between the band and the integrated body, the integrated body is formed from a metal having a Vickers hardness of at least 550 HV, and a deformable jacket or coating surrounds the integrated body that defines the outer diameter of the bullet.
