Provided are an energy balance control device, battery system, and energy balance control method, said device comprising: a selection unit, arranged to gate a battery cell which requires energy balance control in a battery cell group; a transform unit, arranged to perform a first energy conversion process between the gated battery and a battery; a transformer, arranged to perform a second energy conversion process between the gated battery and a battery. The described technical solution can solve the problem, in battery equalization technology, of the need for a secondary winding of a transformer to increase with an increase of battery cells and thus cause implementation of the transformer to be more difficult, and avoids the need for the secondary winding of the transformer to increase with the increase of battery cells, thus achieving the effect of reducing the difficulty of implementing a transformer.
