FIELD: waterborne vessels.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a collapsible mast of water transport. The collapsible mast of a yacht or for a yacht is configured to collapse and comprises a base (2), an upper section (3) and a rotation mechanism located between the base and the upper section and configured to rotate the upper section relative to the base between the vertical position (6) and the collapsed position (7). The rotation mechanism comprises an axis (8) passing in the transverse direction through the base and comprises a pivot lever (9) rotatably connected to the base by an axis. The operating length of the lever (9) is changeable from a shorter operating length in a vertical position to a longer operating length in a collapsed position so as to keep the base and the upper section separated in a collapsed position and to keep the base and the upper section in contact in a vertical position. The lever (9) with a changeable operating length passes through a hole (11) in the installation plate (10) inside the upper section (3), wherein a linkage passes along the upper section (3) and back through the inner part of the upper section to the installation plate.;EFFECT: increased safety is achieved.;15 cl, 6 dwg
