A procedure for determining the failure of an active airlock, indicating:Determine whether or not an active air flap is in a non-public state (S100);if the active valve is in the non-public condition, continuously test a change in an engine cooling water temperature (S110), and if the change is below a reference change, stop the generation of an error warning (S120); andif the change in the engine cooling water temperature is above the reference change, determine and/or further process whether the malfunction warning is to be generated in such a way that, if the time needed to achieve the change is above a reference temperature time, interruption of the generation of an error warning (S130); and if the time is below the reference temperature time, generate the error warning (S140).
