An animal passive fear-of-heights behavior test device, comprising a high platform (10) and a support mechanism (20), the high platform (10) comprising a high platform base (11) for placing an animal and a surrounding plate (12) surrounding the high platform base (11), the surrounding plate (12) being connected to the high platform base (11) in such a manner that the surrounding plate can turn upside down, and the support mechanism (20) being provided at the bottom of the high platform base (11) to support the high platform base (11). The animal passive fear-of-heights behavior test device can quickly switch a fear-of-heights state of an animal without disturbance: when the surrounding plate (12) turns to an upward state, the animal placed on the high platform base (11) switches to a behavior state of low fear-of-heights level as the animal is in a closed high platform; and when the surrounding plate (12) turns to a downward state, the animal switches to a state of high fear-of-heights level as the high platform base (11) where the animal is located is not shielded by the surrounding plate (12).
