The present invention relates to an animal model system enabling the investigation of paternal attentiveness of a male mouse, by using, as a mate, a female mouse from which phospholipase C1 gene is knocked out. More specifically, the present invention relates to a mating system enabling the investigation, in various male mice, on a response associated with an increase in compensational paternal attentiveness induced by maternal attentiveness disorder of the knock-out female mice. According to the genetic animal model of the present invention, it is possible to provide a bad mother (or a neglecting mother) environment required for the biological investigation on paternal attentiveness in non-biparental species, without artificial manipulation such as chemical treatment or isolation.
