Provided is an oxide-based positive electrode active material which is for solid-state lithium-ion batteries, and from which excellent battery characteristics can be obtained when used in a solid-state lithium-ion battery. This oxide-based positive electrode active material for solid-state lithium-ion batteries is represented by composition formula LiaNixCoyMn1-x-yO2 (in the formula, 0.98≤a≤1.05, 0.8≤x≤1.0, and 0≤y≤0.20 are satisfied), and has an average particle diameter D50 of 1.0-5.0 µm, a residual alkali amount of 0.3-2.0 mass%, and a sulfate radical amount of 100-6000 wtppm.
