PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a squeegee device for a floor surface cleaning machine capable of stabilizing backing of a vehicle body, stabilizing the posture of a squeegee at the time of backing of the vehicle body, and, further, reducing a manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A squeegee device 4 for a floor surface cleaning machine for cleaning a floor surface F by rotating/vibrating a cleaning pad supplied with a cleaning liquid for cleaning while causing a vehicle body 2 to travel, and collecting the liquid after the cleaning includes a squeegee 20 disposed behind the vehicle body 2 for scraping off the liquid after the cleaning, and a slide connection part 30 including a connection arm 31 for connecting the squeegee 20 to the vehicle body 2. The connection arm 31 can change its posture between a first posture in which it is pulled down by friction force working on a connection part of the squeegee 20 to the floor surface F when the vehicle body 2 is caused to advance, and the squeegee 20 is brought into contact with the floor surface F, and a second posture P2 in which it is pushed up by the friction force working on the connection part of the squeegee 20 to the floor surface F when the vehicle body 2 is caused to back, and the squeegee 20 is caused to be separated from the floor surface F.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6B
