The present invention concerns a standardisation procedure for a dry blood matrix, showing the steps: provision of the dry blood trix, extraction of at least one analyte from a first part of the dry blood trix and haemoglobin from a second part of the dry blood trix, quantitative analysis of at least one extracted analyte as well as the extracted haemoglobin, determination of a concentration of at least one analyte in the first part of the dry blood matrix and concentration of haemoglobin in the second part of the dry blood trix,Derivation of a haematocrit from the second part of the dry blood matrix by the haemoglobin concentration and calculation of a normalisation factor by the haematocrit determined to normalise the concentration of at least one analyte in the first part of the dry blood trix. The invention also concerns a standardisation device (10) to perform an inventive procedure.
