The present invention is a cellulose powder, and the hydrolyzate of the cellulose powder with sulfuric acid has a mannose content of 0.2% by mass or more based on the total mass of glucose, mannose and xylose in the hydrolyzate. The content of xylose with respect to the total mass of glucose, mannose and xylose in the hydrolyzate is 0.5% by mass or more, and the content of the mannose and the content of the xylose are measured by a high-speed liquid chromatograph method. Provided are a cellulose powder which is a product, a tablet using the same, and a method for producing a tablet.
