A mutation detection device comprises: a memory for storing software for implementing a neural network; and a processor for detecting a mutation by executing the software, wherein the processor generates first genomic data extracted from tissue being detected for, and second genomic data extracted from normal tissue, extracts image data by preprocessing the first genomic data and second genomic data, and detects a mutation in the tissue being detected for, on the basis of the image data through the neural network which is trained to correct a false positive specifically occurring in a sequencing platform.
