A picture correction method and apparatus based on facial feature point detection, a computer device, and a storage medium. The method comprises: obtaining a specified document picture comprising a face; placing the specified document picture in a first pose to obtain an intermediate document picture; inputting the intermediate document picture to a preset facial feature point detection model for processing to obtain a first feature point quantity; if the first feature point quantity is not greater than a preset quantity threshold, rotating the intermediate document picture clockwise by a specified angle to obtain a rotated document picture; inputting the rotated document picture to the facial feature point detection model for processing to obtain a second feature point quantity, and determining whether the second feature point quantity is greater than the quantity threshold; and if the second feature point quantity is greater than the quantity threshold, recording the rotated document picture as a corrected picture. Thus, a document picture is accurately corrected.
