METHOD OF TREATING CHILDREN WITH CONGENITAL HIGH SCAPULA STANDING IN COMBINATION WITH ITS PTERYGOID DEFORMITY

FIELD: medicine. ;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used to treat children with congenital high standing of the scapula in combination with its pterygoid deformity. The scapula is mobilized, the suprascapular neurovascular bundle is mobilized, the base of the coracoid process is cut off, and the cut trapezius and rhomboid muscles are mobilized to the paravertebral muscles. Then, corrective transverse osteotomies of the scapula are performed in the upper and lower third, as well as a longitudinal osteotomy at the apex of the deformity. Further, the deformation of the scapula in the frontal and sagittal planes is eliminated. Then the scapula is moved to the correct anatomical position between the second and seventh ribs. Corrugated U-shaped sutures, held through the paravertebral, trapezius and rhomboid muscles and the medial part of the scapula, fix the scapula in the position of the achieved correction.;EFFECT: method increases the efficiency of surgical treatment of patients with congenital high standing of the scapula in combination with its pterygoid deformity by restoring the shape and position of the scapula, as well as restoring the length of the trapezius and rhomboid muscles by eliminating the deformation of the scapula and plastic overstretched muscles.;1 cl, 6 dwg
