DRYING DEVICE AND DRYING METHOD IN RAW SILK DEGUMMING PROCESS

A drying device and a drying method in a raw silk degumming process. The drying device comprises a drying box. The drying box is provided with a tow cover and an air supply unit. The tow cover allows a tow to be dried to penetrate. A top opening and a bottom opening are respectively provided on the top and bottom of the tow cover. Some of side walls of the tow cover are provided with a protrusion. The protrusion protrudes towards an outer side of the tow cover. The air supply unit is used for blowing the airflow into the tow cover to dry the tow. The drop point of the airflow is located in the protrusion of the tow cover. By using the device, the silk can be given with the special elastic property and the swelling property at the drying stage of raw silk degumming.
