DISPLAY DEVICE, DRY FILM PROCESSING OF OVERLAYS FOR DATA PROCESSING

This report covers the first period of the contractual effort and reviews the general approaches to the "problem overeating a display device which accepts an electrical signal input and records the information on a dry processed film suitable fox multiple gate projection.nPreliminary specifications for frame sizes and fixing the approach to the copy technique have facilitated ordering the transfer lens.nFour CRT phosphors have been tested with reference to supplying the energy to expose Kevlar film. Resolution requirements for the various copy stages have been assigned, and three (3) fiber optic face plates have been ordered. Measurements on Radio Frequency Interference from arc lights used in the film copy process have been made and a shielded lamp house designed. Kevlar clips furnished by USAECOM have been checked for performance char¬acteristics. Program is on schedule. Progress on the overall study is outlined and reported.
