PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic material with an amount of inorganic material distributed within the organic material, the inorganic material being at least partially crystalline.;SOLUTION: An organic material is provided, comprising a porous interpenetrating network, and inorganic material 34a, 34b present in at least a portion of the porous interpenetrating network, the inorganic material being at least partially crystalline. An organic material is provided, further comprising a plurality of crystalline nanoparticles 22. An organic material is provided, having the plurality of crystalline nanoparticles arranged in a pattern. A thin film is provided, in which the organic material is a flexible polymeric film. An organic material is provided, the organic material being deposited on a substrate 16 comprising an electrically conductive film of metal, indium tin oxide, or being a transparent conductive film. An organic material is provided, in which the substrate is a conjugated polymer film.
