Provided are: a transgenic plant that has a blue flower color or a self- or cross-fertilized descendant thereof; or a propagule, a part of a plant body, a tissue or cells of the same.　By transferring a buckwheat-derived C-glycosyltransferase (CGT) gene or a homolog thereof into a host plant, delphinidin type anthocyanin is allowed to coexist with a flavone mono-C-glycoside in plant cells.
