A method and apparatus for establishing a passable area map, a method and apparatus for processing a passable area map, and a mobile device, relating to the technical field of mobile devices. The method comprises: obtaining a reachable actual location of a mobile device in a working area; and establishing a passable area map on the basis of the reachable actual location of the mobile device, wherein the passable area map comprises on-map locations; the on-map locations comprise a reachable on-map location, and the reachable on-map location is the on-map location of the reachable actual location of the mobile device mapped to the passable area map; the on-map location does not comprise the on-map location of a barrier. The mobile device can implement positioning, path planning and barrier-avoidance functions on the basis of the passable area map of the present invention; in comparison with a general map, the passable area map of the present invention is more suitable for the running of the mobile device in a particular working area, the computation burden of the mobile device is lowered, and the map establishing time is reduced.
