A method for determining an optimal teeth ratio for a combined bolt-tooth force transmission steel-wood connection comprising the following steps: using a splint teeth ratio as a parameter to design a group of flexural components; using finite element software ABAQUS to perform elasto plastic stress analysis and fitting an extreme bending moment calculation formula for the components; drawing a curve representing changes in an initial rigidity and an extreme bending moment of each component with teeth ratios; and determining the optimal teeth ratio according to a critical point of the curve.
