MERGED FLOATING PIXELS IN A TOUCH SCREEN

Disclosed are touch sensor panel configurations for reducing a wobble error for a stylus moving on a surface between and over electrodes of a touch sensor panel. In some examples, electrodes with more linear signal profiles correlate with lower wobble error. In some examples, diffusion elements formed by floating segments of conductive materials can diffuse a signal from the stylus to the plurality of electrodes, thus making the signal profiles associated with the electrodes more linear. In addition, the diffusion elements may be configured to improve optical uniformity of the touch sensor panel. In some examples, the diffusing elements may be formed on the same layer as the floating dummy pixels, and may resemble a plurality of merged floating dummy pixels.
