The present invention relates to a packaging material using mushroom mycelia and a method for manufacturing the same, wherein the mushroom mycelium is inoculated and cultured in a solid medium mixed with coffee meal, sawdust, and fallen leaves, and then the culture is dried and compressed to cause the mushroom mycelium to become entangled. By using, it is possible to manufacture an eco-friendly packaging material with increased durability such as tensile strength, shear strength, pressure resistance and heat resistance. In addition, it is expected that the eco-friendly packaging material using the mushroom mycelium of the present invention can be biodegradable, so it is easy to dispose of, and can be very usefully used as an eco-friendly packaging material that does not pollute the environment.
