Indicators, route, for vehicles.-A line or destination indicator for street railways comprises a box alpha with translucent route-indicating panels which may be removed through slots g5. The door bears semicircular portions b2 of the ends of the box, and when the door is closed apertures are left for the tubular shaft c on which the box is placed. This shaft is bent upwards at c4, and serves as a support for electric lamps d2, wired through the shaft, and for a reflector d4. The box is rotated by means of a hand-wheel g4 and bevel gearing g3, e to display the different panels. The bevel-wheel e is loose on the shaft, and engages the end wall of the box by means of pins e2, a collar f keeping the box up to the bevel-wheel.
