The pick head A has sockets A1 into a which are screwed points C. Collars D, of finer thread, lock the points to the head. The points are provided with holes c' so that they may be threaded over a wire ring and readily carried. Caps E secured by a hinge e and padlock e1 keep out dirt and prevent the pick from being used when the points have been removed.
