Hat holders.-A hat holder for use in connexion with chairs or seats consists of a frame a of one or two sections of wire pivoted eccentrically beneath the seat at a point b so that it can be rotated into the position shown in Fig. 1 for the insertion of a hat, and afterwards turned back out of the way. A stop c may be provided to engage with a catch c' operated by a projecting piece c2. A catch d may also be provided to engage with the wire frame. When applied to a tip-up seat, the frame may be secured by a screw passing through a hook a1. The shape of the frame may be varied, and a circular frame having an eccentric pivot may be employed. In a modification, Fig. 4, the straight sides f1 of the frame slide in guides f2; the frame can be drawn out by means of a hinged rod g for the insertion of a hat.
