Guards, mud.- Dust guards cr deflectors, w h i c h may serve also as mud guards, are described in connexion with apparatus for preventing the rising of dust behind motor-cars or tramcars, comprising a false bottom a arranged beneath the body of the vehicle as shown in Figs. 1 and 3. The guards d fitting close to the wheels are oarried by the false bottom and deflect the dust raised by the wheels down on to the road.
