Feeding and drinking appliances for animals.- In mangers provided with a separate drinking- trough for each animal closed by a hanging flap and all supplied from a common water channel, the supply pipe is so arranged that the water cannot pass from one trough to another. The supply pipe i enters both the channel c and the trough at or near their highest points, and is arranged obliquely as shown in Fig. 2, a reservoir with a float valve being arranged to keep the channel c full.
