Bottles, cleaning.-Relates to bottle-cleaning machines of the type having an endless-chain conveyer, and consists in the means for supporting and controlling the bottles during their passage from the conveyer to and between the brushes. A platform v receives the rows of bottles from the conveyer, and supports them as they slide down the inclined board x towards the brushes y. The bottles are next engaged by a lever f, which controls their descent between the brushes, and is then withdrawn to allow them to slide into the tank 3. A hooked arm q serves to remove the bars 4, which normally retain the rows of bottles in the conveyer. The various parts are controlled by a cam a and the connexions shown.
