25,998. Ruth, R. Nov. 12, 1908, [Convention date]. Colour photography.-In a colour process, a three-colour screen is used which is made of a material, such as gelatine, which is capable of being sensitized and developed by a bichromate process. A screen such as is described in Specification 16,273/10 may be used. The screen c is supported on the plate a by a gelatine film b, and is protected from the sensitive film d by a waterproof layer of caoutchouc or a film of negative varnish. The plate is exposed through the screen b and developed as a positive. The screen b and negative are stripped off the support a, and the screen layer is sensitized with an alcoholic ammonium bichromate solution, printed through the negative, and subsequently developed and transferred to paper as in the usual pigment process.
