14,029. Stettiner Maschinenbau-Akt.- Ges. "Vulcan." June 9, 1909, [Convention date]. [Addition to 13,864/06.] Hydraulic transmission of power.-Apparatus, such as that described in the parent Specification, is provided with one or more auxiliary pumps for the purpose of supplying motor liquid to the gear, or, if this is in operation, to maintain it filled and under a given positive pressure. The formation of voids in the places where the pressure is least is thus avoided. These pumps may also serve for cooling the gear by allowing a certain amount of leakage to occur, which is replaced by cold liquid from the said pumps.
