Incandescent gas burners.-In burners in which the annular passage between the burnercup b and the central block a is provided with a cylindrical strip c of corrugated metal, and in which provision is made to regulate the flow of the combustible mixture through this passage, the block a is slightly tapered so as to wedge the strip c against the cup, and the upper edge of the block projects over the strip so as to convert the separate streams of mixed gas and air into a continuous ring. The cup b is connected to the gallery g by a tube f which is slidable upon the mixing-tube e and is secured in position by a spring clip h. The passage between the upper end of the tube e and the conical bottom d of the block a is finely regulated by adjusting the tube f upon the tube e.
