Seats and seat-backs, arrangement and disposition of.-The single seats b on the top deck of an omnibus are all arranged on the near side, there being one more single seat than the number of double seats c1, which are all on the off-side. The upper deck may also be arranged eccentrically with regard to the lower deck, the centre of gravity being moved towards the off-side of the omnibus to counteract the effect of road camber.
