1765. Kamensky, B. Feb. 3. Regulating.-The pump impeller 2 is arranged in a chamber 1 so that the liquid surface takes a parabolic form, as indicated in dotted lines. The inlet pipe 8 connects with a supply chamber 5, in which the liquid level is maintained constant by a float 9 and valves 12. The discharge through the pipe 7 is proportional to the number of revolutions of the spindle 3. In a modification, the float chamber is arranged within the pump chamber.
