The mould comprises two closed frames disposed one within the other, one or both frames being adjustable to vary the width of the mould slot. The length of the mould slot is varied by means of exchangeable filling-pieces. The inner frame is shown as stationary and consists of top and bottom pieces 1, 4 and end pieces 2, 3 provided with arms for attachment to the frame 5 of the machine. The outer frame is shown as adjustable and consists of a top piece 6, end pieces 7, 8 guided by the end pieces 2, 3, and two bottom pieces 9 embracing the bottom piece 4. The mould slot 12 is formed by the pieces 1, 3, a block 13, and a filling-piece 11. The block 13 is guided between the piece 1 and a flange 4' on part of the length of the piece 4, and is adjusted by means of a screw 14. The filling- piece 11 is supported at one end on the two pieces 9 by a foot 15, and is engaged at the other end by means of a dovetail 16 in a flanged block 17 held by means of a web between the pieces 9. The outer frame is adjusted by means of a hand-lever 20 set by means of a pawl 28 engaging in notches 29 in a segment 30. The hand-lever is connected with parallel linkage 23, 26, 23' terminating in rollers 24, 24' engaging in grooves in the end pieces 7, 8.
