14,218. Adams, H. E., and Garnham, A. J. Oct. 7. Card and like cases.-A case for Treasury or like notes, of the type comprising two covers flexibly connected together at opposite edges by two series of bands so that one cover is adapted to hinge on either of the opposite edges of the other, has both covers made flexible or hinged in the middle so as to permit of the case being folded into a smaller compass. The two covers a, b, connected by two pairs of bands c1, c2 and d1, d2, are provided with hinges a3, b3, and the cover b is made slightly shorter than the cover a, into which it is adapted to be folded. The hinge a3 may be formed from the leather of the cover, aud the hinge b3 is collapsible. The outside of the cover b may be formed with a pocket e having a panel e' of celluloid, pockets f for postage stamps, and a pocket g for visiting-cards containing also a writing- tablet g'. A press-button fastening h, i serves to secure the case when folded up. In a modification, the straight bands d1, d3 are replaced by two pairs of diagonal bands, and one member of the fastening is carried by a strap. Specification 3896/15 is referred to.
