Air-pressure sprayers. - In pneumatic apparatus for applying rough cast or other plaster to walls, girders &c, the aggregate of saaid, granite or other chips, lime, cement &c. is drawn into and mixed in a vacuum chamber a from which it falls through a slot e into a second chamber d fitted with a nozzle f which is surrounded by a second nozzle g through which passes a current of compressed air, causing the materials to be ejected at k where they meet an annular sheet of water ejected from tlio nozzle m, m1. The nozzles f, g are provided with linings v, w of india rubber. The air current for ejecting the material must be more powerful than the vacuum in the chamber a. The apparatus is provided with handles for carrying and operating purposes. If desired, the nozzles may be separated from the chambers a, d and connected to them and to the water supply by flexible pipes or hose.
