Rolls o, p, r, are driven by a motor Q through worm, bevel, and spur gearing q, q6, and r2, the rolls r being carried by arms R connected to a weight R3 which causes them to grip the work. The rolls r may be raised by an hydraulic cylinder S, and the frame P carrying the stripping-device adjusted to suit varying sizes of work by wedges p3. Specification 111,280 is referred to.
