Hoofs, treatment of; limb binders.-Remedies for footrot in sheep are enclosed in a bandage fastened on the leg above the affected part so that they flow down over the hoof continuously but so that the hoof is exposed to the air. Powder or ointment is placed in a muslin bag enclosed within a band A formed of two strips of elastic gartering loosely stitched together and closed at the open end C by a flap F secured by press-studs D, E. The medicament oozes out through the interstices between the stitches. The band is secured on the leg by straps and buckles.
