Lotions; ointments.-A remedy for treating foot rot, corns, wounds or other ailments of the hoofs and feet of animals is prepared by dissolving powdered bluestone in boiling vinegar and allowing the solution to cool. Reference is made to known remedies consisting respectively of arsenic, washing soda and water, of bluestone, lard, and tar, and of bluestone and vinegar together with other ingredients.
