Furniture with mehanically interconnected series of trays.-A filing cabinet of the kind in in which a number of receptacles are so connected together by links that they may be simultaneously displaced relatively to one another in horizontal and vertical directions, is supported on a bracket rotatable on a vertical axis or is horizontally slidable on rails. In the arrangement shown in Fig. 3, the lower tray 1 of a set of trays 1 - - 5 connected by links 7 is supported by a frame 11 pivoted to a clamp 13 secured to a table &c., to which is pivoted a stay 15. The trays 2 and 4 are detachably connected to the links 7 at 9. In the modification shown in Fig. 9, the lowest tray 1 is mounted on tubes 37, 37' slidable on rods 36, 361, and the top tray 5 is connected to the upright support 30 by arms 34 carrying rollers 33 which move in slots 32.
