Felts.-The web on a paper-machine having been divided into strips, the strips are removed from the sieve or felt a by an apron b guided in the manner shown. The strips are conducted on the under surface of the apron to rubbing and winding devices c, d, which remove the strips in groups and wind them. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also making the apron b of vegetable or mineral fibres, such as cotton, linen, cellulose, asbestos. &c. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
