Animal traps.-In a self-setting box trap, the slide or door B, which is mounted on pivoted arms C, D so as to fall and close the entrance, is controlled by the movement of the bait container E which turns on a pivot E1, the arm F attached to the container moving into and out of engage. ment with the bent end of the arm C. The trap is re-set by the depression of the arm D by the lever H attached to the gate G, which is lifted by the animal passing into the receiver behind the trap.
