Post files; looks; covers.-In a loose-leaf binder of the kind having posts provided with heads K which coact with slots L in the binder-cover, and, when partially rotated, lock the sheets in the binder, the posts E engage in oppositely disposed notches in the sheets, and the heads K are looked from rotation by key-operated means. The latter comprises a plate Q which is pivoted to the cover by hinges P and secured thereto by a lock R, and holds the heads K in the locked position in slots S placed transversely to the slots L. The heads K are T shaped and have one arm longer than the other, and the posts E are telescopic or comprise interengaging screwthreaded sections N. The back B is flexible and has upper and lower flanges D, C to which the covers A are hinged. The edges of the slots L may be reinforced with metal.
