Feeding hairs singly from bundles to spinning- apparatus.-In a feeding-device for machines for producing endless horse hair threads, the threads 2 are pulled out of a bundle by being gripped by a needle 3 which moves towards a finger 1 supporting the threads, the threads being moved by the finger and needle towards a pair of grooved gripper cylinders 5 and guided between the cylinders by a feeding-bow 6. The threads from the cylinders pass through a feeding-funnel 30 to a spinning-machine. The needle 3 and finger 1 carrying the pivoted bow 6 are mounted on cam-controlled levers 17, 7 pivoted on a crankoperated slide 13 movable in straight guides 14. An arm 32 on the bow 6 is movable along a guide 33 so that the finger and needle may pass through the bow when they move towards the cylinders. When the finger and needle move away from the cylinders and separate, the bow guides the thread past the conical ends 31 of the cylinders.
