Head sets.-Receivers of the type clipped over the head of the operator are carried by the extremity of a flexible clip member a, and are adapted for vertical or longtudinal adjustment by a simple frictional sliding movement controlled by spring pressure applied by means of a blade spring f mounted on the clip member a and abutting against the frictional sliding member c. The blade spring f may be grooved as at f3 to maintain the sliding member c in parallel relation or, in a modification, Fig. 4, a socket f4 may serve the same purpose and the bearing sleeve d may be bored obliquely to provide a bearing d2 adapted to form a half lock. A suction grip device g may be provided as described in Specification 213,519. The earpieces can also be adjusted about the pins c1 and by rotating the rod c in its sleeve d1.
