Improvements in and relating to holders for pencil or ink erasers

Erasers; pencil, pen, and like point - protectors. -A holder for a pencil or ink eraser adapted to be mounted upon the end of a pencil or pen comprises a substantially U- shaped clip a, Fig. 2, which is shaped to receive a length of indiarubber or eraser c of rectangular cross-section and is held within a correspondingly shaped socket e, Fig. 1, the sides a1, a2 of the clip being tightened upon the eraser when the clip is pushed into the socket. The sides of the clip incline outwardly from the bottorr. a3 and release their grip upon the eraser when the clip is withdrawn to adjust the eraser to compensate for wear. Longitudinally disposed ribs b are provided upon the inside faces of the clip to increase the grip upon the eraser, and the upper ends d of the clip are preferably rolled to facilitate its withdrawal and to form stops to limit its depth of insertion in the socket. A socket f may be secured to the lower end of the socket e for its attachment to the end of a pen or pencil, or the socket e may be formed at the end of a point-protector.
