Teaching music.-In an apparatus for teaching music of the kind comprising a grooved board and a series of blocks bearing musical notes, signs &c. the board is formed of two plies of wood A, B, the front ply B having a series of rectangular and symmetrically arranged recesses cut therefrom to receive the blocks, Fig. 3. The latter are of various widths but are all of a height to fit the recesses. The rear ply A is formed with slots A1 to facilitate removal of the blocks. The board also has a removable stud C bearing, for example, a " time " figure, or the stud may be revoluble and have several markings adapted to show through an aperture in the front ply B. The board itself may have fixed or variable markings having relation to the matter shown on the blocks. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 5902/98 and 13653/10.
